READY-TO-WEAR HATS
All of our hats are designed, hand-shaped and stitched in-house by me in London. We buy the finest rabbit and beaver fur felts, and hand-woven straws from master weavers in Ecuador as the base of all HoH hats. Hats are then steamed and hand-shaped to the desired crease and style, fitted with a genuine leather sweatband installed by hand, finished with the appropriate trim - which is often custom-made by us - to complement the hat, and finally finished with a signature House of Harding silk liner.

Respecting Tradition
House of Harding is a London-based fashion brand specialising in hand-made bespoke and ready-to-wear unisex hats, and offering a collection of limited-run scarves and accessories. Blending traditional American styles and techniques - that have been around for generations - with a refined expression of quintessential London style, House of Harding honours heritage and tradition, while also drawing from the present to shape the future. Founded by Chris Harding in 2021, House of Harding has set out to do things a bit differently. We endeavour to build a community of U.K-based artists to work with on our designs, believe wholeheartedly in doing what we can to support and promote them, and pay the artists we choose a fixed rate of 20% on all items sold featuring their commissioned works.
Scarves & Accessories
All House of Harding patterns are designed by Chris and digitised by a U.K graphic designer. ‘Freedom Feather’ is the first pattern to be offered for sale by HoH and features the hand-drawn hawk feather and the ‘HoH Chainlink’ logo bordering the scarf. All scarves will be printed on 100% natural materials that are selected to correlate with the appropriate season. We also work with U.K artists using expressly commissioned artworks (drawings and paintings) that are then used on a range of limited-run scarves, bandanas, bags, etc. We aim to build a community consisting of brand, artists and manufacturers whose ethos is extended to our customers, using the finest-quality, locally-sourced, natural materials available.
HoH Bespoke
Express yourself with a hat made expressly for you.
HoH Bespoke is a fully-premier range offered by House of Harding. All HoH Bespoke clients receive a one-on-one consultation discussing the details of the piece - the customer’s head size, and unique shape, are measured, and a full customer profile is created. A custom band block for that particular customer is then made, and is used to shaped and set the hat creating a perfect, custom-fitted hat for our client.

We at House of Harding take pride in our craft and want your HoH Bespoke hat to be a true reflection of you. That’s why we begin each HoH Bespoke hat with a free consultation. During your consultation, we want to get to know more about you – your wants and desires – in order to develop a personal profile so we can deliver you a hat as unique as you are. We encourage your involvement in this process as the best results come from a collaborative experience. All HoH Bespoke hats are made entirely by hand - a very detailed, and time consuming, process – and bespoke orders are placed ahead of our regular production so that we can get your new hat to you as soon as possible.
